Hand painted Texas Treasure Box

Texas Wildflowers

Texas Treasure Boxes

Texas Treasure Boxes

I'm excited to announce the creation of Texas Treasure Boxes. These are made from reclaimed wooden cigar boxes, topped with leather then either hand tooled by my dear friend Leland Hensley; or they're hand painted by me! We are selling them on Etsy (the web-site for handcrafted items)  and we will be on the square tomorrow morning here in Meridian for the Christmas on The Square Market. We're planning on taking my dad's 1927 Ford Model T Coup to display our boxes on. Each box is unique and great for the hard to buy for person. We take custom orders for school mascots, brands, names, logos, pets, Texas wildflowers, just about anything you can think of!

Pet Portrait Holiday Special!

Order now for Christmas~ an 8x10 Pet Portrait for only $75! The perfect gift for that hard to buy for person, the person that has everything, the friend that has no kids, but treats her dog like a kid, or the friend that has bizarre pets like a pot-bellied pig, or the friend that's on the verge of being a creepy "Cat Lady", or the friend that has 3 dogs that sleep in the same bed with her! Okay, not that I'm talking about any of my friends, but I think you get the picture. Personally I only sleep with 2 dogs in my bed :) a Chinese Crested Powder Puff and a Rat Terrier that thinks she's human. You can contact me on my blog or visit: to place your order. Order now to have oil painting dry by Christmas. Thanks for subscribing to my blog, I appreciate having followers :)

"Pygmy Goat with Attitude"

I love this little goat, she was so much fun to paint! She was used for the goat tying event at our riding club Play-Day series this past summer. She was a real scrapper and prooved to be pretty tuff to tie. I love her attitude along with her beard!
